RANDOM THOUGHT!
(So... I have so many pictures and random memories I think I'm going to go through and post random ones. I really am a memory hoarder. I think digital cameras were invented for me because I would be broke and buried in a mountain of my memories in the form of pictures.)
This pictures is slightly embarrassing (for everyone) because you are probably thinking... it's a goose "MAN UP". Well.... you weren't there, you didn't see, or hear, that demon goose. It literally sounded like a dinosaur and wouldn't leave me alone. :) Now.... I'm one for loving dinosaurs... but this goose was too much! I wanted to spread the love to other geese but NOOOO... Stupid goose!I wanted to kick it, but I'm not that mean. (And I didn't want P.E.T.A. after me.) :) I'm sure my siblings got a good laugh that day.

I have a feeling this may be more sporadic than I thought. :) Oh well.
So, I just have to say that I have THE most AMAZING boyfriend ever! First off I am just very blessed to have him in my life. :)
He let me open my Christmas present early this year which was pretty awesome. Now before I tell you what it was I just have to say he was dropping some pretty elusive tips. I'm not going to lie I was a bit suspicious that it was something else. When he says something like "I splurged this year" and "You will be so excited, you have been wanting this for a while" you begin to imagine something circular and sparkly if you know what I mean ;).
When I opened my gift I still cried! He got me a vintage camera! :) I have been really into photography and just mentioned once that I was looking for a cool vintage camera. The one he got was a Rollei 35 which is the "2nd smallest 35mm camera ever made". The camera came complete with about 14 different kinds of film including black and white, expired (which makes it look like those Instagram pictures on the vintage settings... but more legit), and even some basic film that is for messing around with.
Jarom and I were able to take the camera out and have some fun with it.
I still need a little more practice, especially since I'm so used to the modern digital cameras that do all the work for you. (We are so spoiled. Remotes that change the channel for us so we don't have to get up, spell checkers on our computer so we don't have to know how to spell -which I am a terrible speller-, and anything imaginable that is automatic.)
Here are some pictures that I took with my AWESOME new camera! Thanks Jarom! :) I LOVE YA!!
I'm still getting used to the manual settings so don't judge too hard ;).

Facebook Anonymous Meeting
To start off, My name is Brittney (this is the part if I were in an AA meeting everyone would say, "Hi, Brittney" in dull monotone), and yes, I (am) a Facebook addict.
What are the symptoms of being a Facebook addict?
Here are just a few
1.When you keep telling yourself you won't get on and 2 minutes later you just happen to stumble upon the big blue log in page. You just HAVE to type in your user name and password.
2. Famous last words "It will only be a second". "I can control myself". "I really should be going to bed/doing homework"
HAHA ..... Yeah right.
15 notifications (10 of which are random posts or farmville requests), 56 uploaded pictures of your cat in different outfits you forced on him, denying 4 friend requests from people you either hated in high school or old people you have never seen in your LIFE, 30 stalkings (including 3 random people you don't even know), and saying to yourself quite often "How did I get here" or "Why am I still on?"
Sadly this is what I caught myself doing, so to relieve my addiction I decided to go cold turkey. This meant goodbye Facebook. I decided I wasn't ready to drop completely off the face of the earth. I wanted a way for people to kind of know what was going on in my life, especially for those who may not have my phone number or who have become so technologically advanced that they have forgotten how to maneuver a pencil to form words on paper. This blog is for you.... and for my personal ranting pleasure.
I also think that I may be getting a rare form of youth Alzheimer's so storing my memories somewhere will help me stay sane. ;) (don't judge me if you have heard my stories a million and one times). Those closest to me would testify of these things. :)
I have realized that I'm not one for being very consistent with my journal writing (oops). Although I do carry a love for writing, which I believe came from my dad, I have a hard time "finding time" to write. I love to take pictures, and collect what my mom would consider "junk" because it takes a moment and stores it forever. I get very sentimental over small, somewhat insignificant things because of the deep emotional connections I seem to find quite easily.
I chose the name "Memorabilia Minute" because most of these entries will be short, easy, and hopefully fun to read (and write). This may be because I'm either lazy or it will be easier for everyone to catch a glimpse of my life. As far as Memorabilia goes it is defined as "things that are remarkable and worthy of remembrance". Although most of these experiences will not be remarkable or even remembered by anyone besides me and maybe a select few they will forever hold a spot in my heart. (Maybe not my brain though.... remember.... Alzheimer's.)
So.... any of my random readers out there, please forgive me for any spelling and grammar mistakes, spell check on here can only do so much! :)
With that I say "GOODBYE Facebook addiction." We'll see how long I can stay sober"
